AMY TUCKER-MORGAN

Amy Tucker-Morgan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and a Masters of Music
in Choral Conducting from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She began her teaching career with New Hanover County Schools as the Choral Director at John T. Hoggard High School in 1995, continued to serve as a music and drama teacher at Noble Middle School, and then as a music
educator at Parsley Elementary School. Amy served as the Adult Choral Director of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church and taught the Luther Choir, Tone Chime Choir, and developed the BibleBeat music program while there. She has worked with all ages of students as a studio harp and voice teacher and is a corps member of Opera House Theatre Company. Amy lives in Wilmington with her husband Steve, who is the instrumental ensemble director at Coastal and their two boys, Sam and Ben.
